CHECK-IN PROCEDURE

  1. Be dressed in 1st costume, hair and make-up done.

  2. Carry your Shopping Bag containing:

    1. Accessories and additional Costumes

    2. Dance Shoes

  3. IF you have a Quick Change, bring a separate Quick Change bag with costume and all accessories necessary (notifications of Quick Changes sent via email and distributed paper copy)

  4. Guardian drops off student and goes around to Lobby.

  5. Pick-Up Cards issued for Pre-School Level Classes.

  6. Theater Entrance opens 45 mins before Curtain.

  7. No Food or Drink permitted backstage or in theater.

DAY OF RECITAL INSTRUCTIONS

PICK-UP PROCEDURE

  1. After the Show – Please remain seated for a few minutes.

  2. One Female Parent/Guardian goes backstage for pick up.

  3. Pre-School Level Classes should follow instructions on the color-coded Pick-Up Bracelet issued to you.

  4. Celebrate your “stars” performance and present them with a congratulatory “STAR” and big hug.



Looking to see what show your dancer is in?
You were sent an email in March (with Costume Balance) that indicated what show/s your dancer is in! You can also reference this document which lists out what routines each dancer is performing in each recital!

STAGE REHEARSALS
June 10, 11, & 13

Stage Rehearsals are held June 10, 11, & 13 but your dancer will only have to attend one of these days.

Please arrive dressed in your PDC Recital Shirt, Black Shorts, Tights, Rehearsal Bow and bring all your dance shoes. 
Hair in ponytail and no makeup required for this Stage Rehearsal.  Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled Stage Time.
All dancers must be there at the beginning.
Once your dancers have completed all their performances, they will be dismissed from the cafeteria

COSTUMES

Please note that as we get closer to the recital things may change and be updated! Please refer to the date to make sure you have the most recent version.

HAIR

UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED
Slick back bun at crown of head.
No part, no bangs.

TOTS ONLY: Down and curly, styled half up, half down

MAKEUP

The following is strongly encouraged for all dancers:

  • Mascara

  • Red lipstick

  • Eyeshadow

  • Blush

REMEMBER
No Jewelry - No Nail Polish
No Underwear - No Tattoos

FOR FULL DETAILS, INSTRUCTIONS, AND IMPORTANT NOTES REGARDING TICKET DAY.

You can pre-order flowers for your star on the same site you purchase tickets!
Pre-ordered bouquets can be picked up in the lobby on the day of the show. We will have a limited amount of bouquets to purchase in person on the day of the show.

PRE-SCHOOL PRACTICE NOTES

Tots, Kinder, Combo II, and Combo II music and dance notes can be found at the link below. Please PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE! There are no notes for Acro, Kids Hip Hop, or Jazz 1.

All families will receive a digital download of ALL FOUR shows. A link will be sent out via email with full instructions on how to view/download the recital once the recording is ready.
If you wish to purchase a physical copy (DVD or USB) you can do so at the below link!

Souvenir Program Ads & Pre-Orders

The Souvenir Program is a full size program that lists every performer in each dance, class photos, a summary of highlights from the past year at the studio, and a dancer memory page for autographs. EACH DANCER receives one copy of the Souvenir Program as a part of their Recital Package.

To continue being able to provide this special keepsake for our students, we rely on the sale of Program Ads. Please help us continue this wonderful tradition for our students. This is a great way to congratulate your star on their performance and hard work throughout this year of dance!

ALL ads purchased for the Souvenir Program are automatically included in the Pre-Show Video that plays in the auditorium before the start of every show.

Note about Photos: You can use photo/s from the Picture Day Experience with professional photographer Peter Dant for your ad the Souvenir Program or your own personal photo/s. It is your responsibility to purchase the digital rights to your photo from the photographer - we will not accept any watermarked images. If you plan on using a Picture Day Experience image, please indicate so in the question in the form.

Note about Pre-Orders: If you wish to have an additional copy of the Souvenir Program, you can pre-order one for $5 until May 10. Programs will be available at the door on the day of the show for $8, in limited quantity.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PAYMENT: In order to accept ads from other family members, friends, and community businesses, this form is setup to collect payment online. PARENT NOVELTY ROUTINE 2025
”Grease is the Word”

Calling all dance moms and dads... and uncles and aunts and friends! We're once again doing our Parent Novelty routine in the upcoming recital. This dance is for parents and adult family members of our students, and is a great way to be a part of our Annual Production. This year, the Parent Novelty routine will be in the GREASE section so we're looking for some T-Birds and Pink Ladies!

Rehearsals will be on Fridays from 7:45-9:00
May 16 thru June 6th

Last rehearsal is a pizza party!
NO dance experience required
NO cost to participate (except for purchasing your own costume)
