    Since our first year, we have been performing the Yuletide Magic Holiday Show to get the community in the holiday spirit! Past performances include local parades, nursing homes, tree lightings, school events, and of course, the classic on-stage production.

Annual
Production

Each dancer at the studio is invited to participate in our Annual Production, which takes place in June. Dancers typically perform one routine per class in our world-class production which includes professional costumes, sets, lighting, and sound. This is NOT your typical dance recital - we pride ourselves on creating an entertaining show for all attendees.

Preparations for the Annual Production begin with our Theme Reveal in January. Students work on their dances beginning in February. Costumes typically arrive from March - April, and we offer a Picture Day Experience for your dancer to shine in front of the camera with professional dance portraits. There is a Dress Rehearsal / Stage Blocking Rehearsal close to the recital at the end of May / beginning of June depending on the exact date of the recital.

It all culminates on Recital Weekend - 4 shows over 2 days!

Troupes & Trips

Since we are not a competition school, we pride ourselves on the performance opportunities we are able to provide our students throughout the year. From local parades and events, to world-renowned stages and venues, and everything in-between, our dancers have showcased their talents and made memories to last a lifetime!

There are certain opportunities that we participate in yearly, and others that come around once in a blue moon - so it is always important to pay attention to what performances are being offered for the year! Some performances are local, while others can be made into a trip for the whole family. There is truly something for everyone at the PDC! It is important to us that these opportunities are accessible to all dancers, so we offer payment plans and fundraising opportunities to help offset costs.

Past local performances include (but are certainly not limited to): Hazlet Day Festival, Keyport Witches Walk, Keyport St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Highlands St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Hazlet Bike with a Bunny Parade.
